LaChapelle

W związku z aferą wokół teledysku Rihanny do "S&M" dotyczącą plagiatu znanego fotografa Davida La Chapelle wzrostło zainteresowanie owym autorem. Sama jestem tego przykładem! Znałam wcześniej prace tego autora, aczkolwiek nie zastanawiałam ię zbytnio nad ich "rewelacyjnością" ;) Dopiero teraz widzę jak niesamowitym jest artystą.

Niewiarygodnie trudno jest bawić się kolorem. La Chapelle stosuje w swoich pracach całą paletę barw oraz niemal barokowy przepych..Ociera się o kicz? Być może. Jednak fakt jest faktem,że pstrokatość i kontrowersyjność jego fotografi działa na widza  tak, że nie może on oderwać od nich swoich oczu :)

I know LaChapelle before, but when I heard about the scandal connected with rihanna's  plagiarism i started to interest more about this photographer. Now I see how genious he is.

It's very hard to play with colors. La Chapelle uses a full palette of colours in his works and also baroque splendor. But all things get on with another!  Is it kitsch? May be. But the fact is that his colorful , sometimes controversial works make watchers fascinated with them. Personally, I can't take my eyes of them! :)
